Artistic Practice

I use many different techniques in my work, including hand and machine embroidery, appliqué, beadwork and goldwork.

I aim to produce work to exhibit twice a year.

After a career in accountancy I embarked on  a course at Loughborough University and a new career in textiles.

I lectured in textile crafts in Adult Education and Further Education for many years.

I have exhibited my work in exhibitions organised by Leicestershire County Council and Nottingham University.

I also exhibit with The Second Turning Textile Group in various venues in the East Midlands.
