Artistic Practice and History

I studied City and Guilds Fashion at Derby College of Art in the mid ‘60s. I taught evening classes for Machine Knitting which is how I became involved as a founder member of the ‘Living Threads’ group. This is the only time that I exhibit.

It is safe to say that I am a dabbler loving most textile crafts. Mainly a machine knitter but I also love to crochet. I have dipped my toe (or fingers) into weaving, locker hooking, hand knitting, embroidery, dressmaking, in fact most things to do with threads.
