Woven and bonded cloth, spun threads, a multiplicity of fibre types, all with different responses to stitch, dye and manipulation are a tremendous resource for my work.

Artistic History
Nottinghamshire born, I qualified to teach art, craft and design at The City of Coventry Teacher Training College.
After a 35 year career in teaching I am enjoying retirement with time to experiment with traditional embroidery skills, modern embroidery and textile decoration.
Since retirement I have completed City and Guild courses in Design and Craft (textiles), Textile Decoration and Machine Embroidery at South Notts College.
