Since retiring I have been trying to refine the vast range of skills I have learned and practiced over the years, but find it difficult as I still enjoy working traditional techniques as much as combining fabrics and threads with print and paint for a more contemporary approach.
I stitch because I always have, like breathing and eating.
Having gaining several C&G exams in the 1960’s, I taught these at all levels for 30 years.
Since retiring I continue to take workshops and day schools at various venues.
I have exhibited at National, Regional and Local levels for many years.
I have been a Member of the Embroiderers’ Guild for many years.
